Needs a little smocking in her wardrobe! Ella had a smocked dress for Easter, and now that summer is approaching we HAD to get a smocked bathing suit. Last summer on our way to Gulf Shores we all spent one night in this beautiful resort in Alabama. There were the cutest little "southern" girls running around the pool in the sweetest smocked bathing suits with a big bow in their hair, and I decided right then that Miss Ella had to have one this year. {She was only 3 months at the time} The funniest part is that we heard one of the moms calling out her daughters name to get her attention and it happened to be..."Ella Grace". Crazy, huh? Anyway, the suit came in the mail yesterday, so it was off for a quick photo shoot before nap time!
And this is when I knew it was time for a nap...
Not much has been going on around here in the past few weeks because of the rain. E and I have just been hanging out at the house. We did have a busy few days this past weekend though. Macey Cate came over to play on Friday and the girls had so much fun! They were so cute to watch playing together. We love when our friends come over. :) Zach also flew in from KC that evening and we met him at our favorite Mexican food restaurant in Dallas, Manny's. Yummy! On Saturday Ella and I went to Camdyn's 1st birthday party. It was so much fun, and Taren did such a wonderful job decorating and planning. Z and I had a wedding to go to that night, and we decided that it was time to try out a "real" babysitter. {a non-family member} Although I was a little nervous to leave Ella, I knew that she would be in good hands. It could not have gone any better and we already have her scheduled to come again tomorrow for our date night! To wrap up the weekend, on Sunday we took dinner to our good friends Ashley and Keith and got to see Kate again. I think I was holding her the whole time, except when Zach made me hand her over to him. :) So precious!
