B is for...

Babies...
Last Friday we had a mini-playdate with Emma and Macey! Ashley and I had been talking about getting together with the babies during the day since we are both home, and Friday we made it happen. The girls had fun playing with Ella's toys while the mommies had great conversation over chicken salad sandwiches. :)

A Birthday...
On Saturday after going to Aspasians with "the girls", our little fam headed out to the Wiggly Play Center to celebrate my niece's 4th birthday. This was one of the first times we actually got to see Ella play like the big kids. She is always trying to keep up with them, but on this day, she truly did! They all had so much fun climbing and sliding. It was such a fun celebration for all of us! Happy Birthday Caysie!!! We love you!

And a Bee...
Yep, Ella was stung by a bee on Sunday afternoon while playing in the front yard with daddy. She was picking those beautiful yellow flowers that grow all over the yard {aka weeds!} and there was one sitting on it. When Zach noticed, it was too late. She squeezed the flower so he couldn't take it away from her and the bee did his thing. Poor baby only cried for a second and then she was fine. About 15 minutes later I saw that her middle finger was getting red and swelling up. She didn't act like it bothered her and that was the only symptom we saw, so at least we know that she is not allergic!
