My Birthday

Well, yesterday I turned the big 2-8. Not too far from 30, but I can't complain! I love the life that God has given me with my wonderful husband, baby girl, family, friends, faith, dog, house, health...the list goes on. Who cares about the number, right??? My family came over and surprised me last night with dinner, cake, and presents. SO FUN! Mom picked up food from my favorite Mexican food restaurant, Manny's, and my sister got a delicious cake from a bakery in Dallas. I also got so many great gifts from everyone, but my favorite had to be from Zach. We are going to San Francisco next weekend! Woohoo! We leave on Thursday and come back Sunday, so we will be away from Miss Ella for a few days. I know that she will have so much fun with her Moni and Grandad while we are gone though. :) I can't wait!!!











What a great week to celebrate a birthday too! Easter is one of the best times of the year when we get to celebrate our Lord and Savior dying on the cross and rising again to save us from our sins. This time last year Easter was the day after we brought Ella home from the hospital. Her first Easter was celebrated at home with mommy, daddy, and a few visitors throughout the day. I can't wait to take her to church on this extra special Sunday and include her in our family traditions. What a precious thing to share!
