Happy Visits and Ella's First Parade

We had such a good time while my dad was in town! The grandkids call him "Happy", which was originally "Pappy" and changed somewhere along the way. We sure do think it's cute though! :) While he was here, we went to dinner/lunch a few times, shopped, and just enjoyed spending time with one another. On Saturday we all headed to the Mesquite Rodeo Parade to watch Ella's cousin, Caysie, ride on her school's float. It was a little chilly out, but that didn't stop us from having a good time. Ella LOVED watching all the people, firetrucks, and floats go by! She even danced to the beat of the music as the bands from all 5 high schools played. Ella even had her first sucker while watching the parade, and she did not want to let that thing go when daddy tried to pull it out of her mouth! After the parade we all ate lunch at one of favorite b-b-q places that we have gone to for years. I just love fun Saturday's spent with family!

Caysie spent the night with us one night while Happy was here. They were so cuddly that morning!

We already miss you Happy! Thank you for all the fun times while you were here. :)
