Pinkalicious

Lately Ella has been completely obsessed with the book, Pinkalicious! She wants to read it before nap time, bed time, and anytime in between. We have always checked it out at the library, but didn't own it until this Christmas when Honey got it for her. Since we have read it SO much lately, she has memorized the first few pages by heart and the main parts on other pages. I caught her on video this morning "reading" in her room. If you know the book, you will recognize many of the things she is saying as she flips through the pages. I love it!

Soon after this video was taken I asked Ella what she wanted to do today and she said, "Eat cupcakes!", so we decided to head to the store and pick up the ingredients to make our own pink cupcakes like Pinkalicious! I cannot describe how excited she was that we were doing this. Sweet girl ran around the house jumping and saying all kinds of things that had to do with cupcakes and Pinkalicious. Such a fun way for us to spend one of our last days together before sister gets here. :)

I love how excited she is to eat her cupcake in the next few pictures...

And these...she just dug right in...no hands!

Ella is too precious for words! I loved hearing her "read"! And what a fun idea to make pink cupcakes. That will be a fun memory of her last days as an only child. Thinking of yall this week and praying that baby girl arrives safely and joins your family seamlessly! : )

Everything is too cute! The video of her reading, the outfit she's wearing, the pics of her eating the cupcake! I love it!

You will treasure that video so much someday - mainly b/c you will forget how little and sweet their voices are at that age. My girls LOVE to watch themselves and HEAR themselves on old videos. I do, too!

My girls love the book, too. But have you read Purplicious? I think it's really bad. Pinkalicious is much, much better!

Oh, and her room...precious!

That is so cute! It is precious how they get so excited over the tiniest things. Her room is adorable too! I hope you are having better luck with her sleeping in there than I am with Lola. Aren't you having a baby this week? Keep us posted!
