I was seriously amazed at how well Ella took to her. She immediately grabbed her and held her close while whispering, "don't cry, sweet baby" in her ear. Y'all, it was so stinkin' cute!!! Now, being a doll made her a lot less threatening I'm sure, but still. ;)
Then the real fun began. Ella was in full big sister mode for the rest of the afternoon...
This makes me smile. Can't wait to see how she does with the "real deal" in a week!!! We are ready for you sweet Emerson!

LOVE THESE PICTURES!!!!! The "sleeping" pictures of her are a hoot! :)
That is so sweet! She will do great with her, after a couple weeks of acting out of course. How are you feeling, are you ready? Why haven't you posted any belly pics? I am feeling pregnant. Still living off of my anti-nausea meds. Hopefully that will ease up soon, I am almost 17 weeks. I hope everything goes well next week, can't wait to see pictures!
Ella is so sweet! I love all the pictures. She is going to be a great big sister!
What a sweet little helper you're going to have! I can't wait to see Miss Emmy!
She looks perfectly READY! I know she is going to be a BIG help...and if we're not careful, probably a little PROTECTIVE too!
I love my sister, and I know Ella and Emerson will have a wonderful "sisterly" relationship! I can't wait to watch them grow up together.
This is such a sweet post. I absolutely love it! Ella is going to be a great big sister!
Best of luck for next week. I can't wait to see pictures of sweet Emerson!
OH my! This is so cute...you have a thousand pictures with her and that doll! I can't wait to see Emerson...I still remember EXACTLY what it was like seeing Ella in the hospital and holding her.
So so adorable and sweet. It will be fun later for the sisters to see this and read all about her "getting ready" for Emmy's arrival! Love the "you a binky, me binky" and same with bottle!! Great idea and such fun!
What adorable pics of Miss Ella! She is just beautiful in that first one! Can't wait to meet Emerson...they will be such sweet sisters!
Awwww... this makes me cry. I remember just 2 years ago for us when we were about to move from a family of 3 to 4. What a special time these next few days (and years) will be for you. Enjoy every minute.
