Farmer's Market Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday Ella, my mom, and I visited the Farmer's Market pumpkin patch. Since the weather has been so nasty we are getting a very late start on our fall decor shopping. The day turned out to be beautiful, so we took full advantage. Zach had the piggy flu this past week so he stayed home to get an extra day of rest while us girls had some time together. (Football had nothing to do with that decision I'm sure! Ha!) Ella had so much fun exploring through the mums and pumpkins. She had to touch everything, smell all the flowers, and pat each pumpkin she passed. We ended up leaving with 3 pumpkins {and a personal one for E}, a mum, and an adorable scarecrow. My mom stood the scarecrow-girl in the back floorboard so Ella could look at her on the way home and also told her that it was her "friend". She will now look out our front window frequently and say, "see friend", and as we leave or come home she will point her out and yell "friend!". :)

Ella originally picked this pumpkin, but we had to say no,
so she settled for the one in her hand. :)

Trying to go for a ride in the wagon with her pumpkin...

Thanks Honey for such a fun day!

So sweet! I love Fall because of all the fun things to do outdoors! BTW...I just got Lola's outfit at the Firewheel Macys last week. Actually, I got 3 similar to the one she has on in the picture and they were all on sale for under $18. Really cute stuff!

Ella's new friend looks very happy and I'm glad Ella is, too! Your camera really takes great pictures. The top one looks like the cityscape is a backdrop! It was a lot of fun picking out fall goodies with you and Ella!
