Ella's first Halloween was such a fun one! After making cupcakes for what seemed like all day, it was finally time to head to my sister's house for our annual Halloween get together. When we got there, we were surprised to see a Halloween elf answer the door! (My Nanny had made this costume to wear to her bank 25 years ago on Halloween.) Ella didn't know what to think, so the poor thing just cried! She soon got over her fears and realized that it was just her great-nanny. :)
My sister always does such a great job decorating, and this year was no exception. Leading up to the door was a haunted house for the trick-or-treaters to walk through. She also had scary sounds playing on the balcony above the doorway. I could hear the kids as they were walking up the side walk getting excited about how "cool" the blow-up house was. We saw some of the most adorable costumes! There was even a basset hound dressed up as Derrick Jeter.
A little play time before leaving the house.
We attempted a photo shoot before the trick-or-treating began. As you can see, the little ones were not so interested in looking at the camera and smiling. Guess you can't expect too much from excited, costumed babies and toddlers!
And she's spent...
Cameron as "The Joker"
It was finally time to go trick-or-treating!
(Ella was already out of her costume and headed to bed by this time!)
Mom and Cam
Can't wait for next year!

I didn't see Ella with her Punkin Passie until the picture! So, so cute! What a beautiful baby.
