6 Month Checkup

Today was Ella's 6 month check-up and she is doing great! She showed off all her tricks and then some to Dr. Smithers and her nurse, Helen. I don't know if I have ever seen her so hyper! She did not want to just sit and listen, she wanted to stand, squirm, and "talk". Dr. Smithers is still predicting that we will have an early walker...by 9 months!!! I cannot even imagine her walking around the house in 3 short months. She told us this on our last visit as well, but this time she REALLY meant it and recommended that we buy some "walking toys" and baby proof the house asap. I am still trying to get over the fact that a half of a year has already gone by!

Weight - 15 lbs. 5 oz. (50%)

Head - 42 1/2 cm (50%)

On another note, we decided to go with the popular vote for Ella's Halloween costume. She is going to be the little lamb with pink bows. We got the costume in the mail yesterday and it is absolutely adorable! I put the "head" on Ella today to see how it looked, and I could not stop laughing because she looked so precious. I seriously laughed until I cried which made Ella belly laugh at me. Here is a preview of our little lamb...

Does anyone remember the movie Spaceballs? (So funny!) Zach seems to think she resembles Barf (John Candy's character) from the movie. I can see the similarity, so we both got a good laugh out of that too! :)
