Today was one of those days where we had multiple places to be. I have been a little worried all week about how Ella Grace would react to going from one place to another without her usual nap schedule. Of course on the day that I REALLY NEED for her to take a nice, long nap in the morning, she decides she wants to extend her play time instead. I just knew the day would be a mess for sure, but she proved me wrong and was such a trooper!
Destination #2
Zach's brother and his family came into town for the weekend from Houston to drop off their daughter to spend the week with the grandparents. We don't get to see them very often so we had to go spend some time hanging out before heading to the final stop for the day. His parents recently sold their house in Chandlers and moved into a condo on the lake. They are planning on retiring in Hot Springs Village in the near future, so they will be going back and forth for a while until all is final. They have an AWESOME view of the lake and The Harbor.

Our first stop was at Paul and Jaime's house for Cooper's 1st birthday party. I LOVE kid birthday parties! The decorations were so fun and the cake was adorable. We got to see people we had not seen in a long time. It was nice to sit down and catch up on things! Paul and Jaime did a wonderful job making this day special for Cooper. (Sorry no pics...we didn't get to stay as long as we wanted because it was on to the next stop for the day!)Destination #2
We walked down to see the lake, so Ella had to wear her shades!
Destination #3
After our visit it was off the to the last party of the day. One of Zach's partners had a 40th birthday celebration at his house in Caddo Mills. They have a beautiful home that sits on many acres of land out in the country. The guys fried fish and Jeff smoked a brisket for dinner. It was so nice to just sit out on the porch and relax. Ella even got to ride on "The Mule" around the property. She absolutely loves to be outside, so this was a perfect end to our busy day.

Amanda,
Ella is so stinkin' cute. Some of those photographs were so good they could be blown up and hung in your house. I like the one where you are half cropped out of the picture but you are looking at her. She is in the watermellon dress. That is a gorgeous picture. Sounds like you had a fun day!
It was fun to see you guys and get to catch up a little!
Those are some great pictures! I LOVE her watermelon outfit :o)
