4th of July!

We usually have all our friends and family over for the 4th of July, but this year most of them were out of town. This year it was just us and one of my sisters with her family. Zach LOVES to cook (lucky for me...or we would never eat!) so he made some yummy kabobs, grilled asparagus, yellow rice, and spinich salad for dinner. To top it off he also made a homemade cheesecake for dessert! I decorated it to look like the American flag, so I did help a little! :) After dinner we took my nephew, Coleson, to the end of our street to fish for the first time. He's 2, so that didn't last long! When it began to get dark we headed home and watched the fireworks from our driveway. From where we live it's like a panoramic view of all the surrounding area firework displays. Ella missed out this year since they started so late, but she did enjoy her first 4th of July!
