Thankful

There are SO many things to be thankful for this year! With Thanksgiving this week, I thought I would dedicate a post to the things that mean the most in my life and that I give thanks to God for each and every day.

I AM THANKFUL FOR...

* God's grace and unconditional love
* My wonderful husband who works so very hard to support our family so that I am able to stay home to raise our precious girl{s}
* Our sweet Ella Grace who has brought so much joy into our lives
* Emerson, who will be the icing on the cake for our family
* A family who is accepting and loving in every way
* Friends that I COULD NOT live without
* A healthy pregnancy
* FBC and my wonderful SS class
* Everything that we have been given and have been able to maintain during the hard times that our economy has gone through.

" It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High."
Psalms 92:1

Here are a few pictures of our turkey from last year...oh how she has changed!

We are leaving tomorrow evening to head to Arkansas for a few to spend Thanksgiving with the Cannadays. Then back to TX where we will celebrate again with my dad's side. Busy week for us, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with your families!

Thanksgiving Festivities

We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday this year! It was so much fun sharing all of our family traditions with Ella Grace for the first time, and making memories that will last a lifetime. She enjoyed every minute of being with family as well as trying some of the yummy food as well. :) She really liked mashed potatoes, "green stuff", and her favorite was pumpkin pie!

We had Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday at my sister's house with my mom's side of the family. The table decor was so festive and the food was delicious!

Ella has been trying to walk with her push toy for the past week or so. She is able to take a few steps and then bottoms out. Usually it's because she gets distracted by a toy she wants to pick up.

On Friday morning we loaded up the car and headed east to my aunt's house. My dad and step-mom came in from Louisiana to celebrate Thanksgiving with his side of the family, so we spent the night on Friday night and enjoyed another turkey dinner today. My dad has not seen Ella since June when she was 3 months old and others in the family met her for the first time today. She was such a sweetheart all weekend and played and played with everyone.

I love this picture of Ella and her daddy. This is one of her favorite places to nap. :)MeMe and Ella after her nap.
We stopped to eat on the way to my aunt's house, and Ella decided she wanted to try a lemon! I let her have a little taste just to see what she would do...

After tasting the lemon...she actually liked it! :)

So Much to Be Thankful For

As I think about all that I have been given in my life I am amazed! This year has brought so many new things for me to be thankful for, and I could not be happier. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family, with parents that love me unconditionally, sisters whom I am super close with, loving grandparents, and the sweetest niece and nephews around. I am thankful for my special circle of friends. My life would not be complete without them. I am also thankful that we have a roof over our heads, food on the table, and love in our hearts.

We are so excited to share our Thanksgiving traditions with Ella Grace this year. It makes the holidays so much more fun with a little one. I could not be more thankful for her!

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving day!
