We have had such a fun weekend with friends and family! On Friday night we had some friends over for a fish dinner. Not just any fish, but the catch from the Gulf Shores fishing trip. It turned out great and we had a wonderful time hanging out, watching the babies run around, and playing washers.
The wild and crazy girls making a mess and having fun...
Sweet Macey!
Ella loves her "Uncle" Ben...
Baby Kate enjoyed her first 4th of July!
On Saturday morning we started off our 4th of July with a breakfast of muffin tops and strawberries...yum! Ella was proud to wish America and very happy birthday while waving her flag. :)
Then it was off for a morning swim in her whale pool. She loves the blow hole! :)
Next stop was Nanny and Papaw's for a hamburger cookout. After stuffing ourselves we sat in the backyard and watched the kids splash around in the pool. It was H-O-T!
After taking a long nap we were ready to meet up with our friends, the Howrys, to watch the fireworks! The girls had such a great time running around playing {as their daddies chased after them} while we sat and enjoyed a break from the heat. The weather was so nice last night! As soon as the fireworks started the girls were completely mesmerized and calm. Ella kept saying, "Wow, wow, wow!". She was in awe of such a beautiful display. I love sharing new things with her, especially during holidays!
Sassy pants!
There was even a fire when some of the debris fell into the trees nearby. Luckily the firetrucks were right around the corner!
Can't beat a weekend full of family, friends, fireworks, and fun!!!
