4 Months Continued...

Getting ready to go see Dr. Smitthers

Today Ella had her 4 month check-up and everything looks great! The doctor said she was growing perfectly and that she is going to be a petite little thing. (don't know where that came from?) She was very impressed at Ella's development and said that she was advanced for her age. The doctor even predicted that we would have an early walker...like 9 months. I know that they can't actually give an accurate time frame for those things, but based what she is able to do now she thinks we are going to have a very mobile baby soon! It's time to finish baby proofing the house because if it is anything like the past few months it will happen before we know it.

As our doctor was talking to Zach and me, Ella was trying her best to "talk" OVER her! I guess she knew we were talking about her, but not to her. So the doctor grabbed her up and gave her the attention she was pleading for. While she turned the discussion back to us Ella had fun playing with her stethoscope. :) We are blessed to have such a caring, sweet doctor.

Then came the fun part...shots! Of course she cried, which got louder and more intense with each one, but as soon as it was over it was all good. Miss Ella was back to her smiley self.
